Job description
JOB PURPOSE:To produce high-quality, innovative video content for multiple internal and external communications channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Uphold the organization’s brand ideals and strategic communications priorities
2. Create and edit video and photo content
3. Execute scalable video production, from creative brief/storyboarding to studio or remote production to post-production/editing
4. Independently gather story ideas and produce stories by engaging employees at all levels
5. Operate independently, when necessary, to produce internal and external videos, including internal presentations, such as employee training videos and conference presentations, and social media content
6. Manage in-house studio productions and equipment, including lighting, audio equipment, and technology
7. Capture photos for events or in conjunction with video shoots, as needed
8. Stay abreast of the latest video technology and best practices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- This role must maintain a high level of professionalism to work closely with employees of all levels, including C-suite, and caregivers and patients at our PruittHealth locations. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be a self-starter to work with various groups, depending on the project.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5 years of experience in video production
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)
- News production background preferred
- Must be a compelling storyteller with both production and editing backgrounds
- Ability to work autonomously and with a team while adhering to deadlines
- Excellent verbal communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to collaborate with employees at all levels, from nursing staff to CEO
- Ability to balance creativity with adherence to company’s brand guidelines and tone
- Proficiency in current video production and editing software, including technology for livestreamed events and pre-produced shoots
- Experience with Camtasia and CueiT software a plus
- Studio management experience a plus
- Basic still photography skills, including production, lighting, and editing preferred
- Experience with project management software preferred
- Passion for health care profession
