Filling & Packaging Line Operator
Shift pattern: 6am – 1.42pm / 1.30pm – 9.12pm (rotating weekly)
Job Purpose
Running a line or work area, responsible for correct completion of all relevant paperwork, collection and removal of pallets, preparation materials, basic problem solving
Key responsibilities include the following:

Working under limited supervision to package the entire range of Bard’s Commercial pharmaceutical products, following GMP standards and procedures

Assist in basic set up of filling lines when required

To participate in all 5s, GEMBA and process improvement activities

Preparation of materials
-
Basic problem solving
-
To be aware of daily targets and to perform online tasks accordingly. Always acting in a manner that guarantees maximum OEE whilst maintaining quality standards

To work in a safe manner with due regard to one's own safety and that of others. At all times abide with the companies' health and safety policies and procedures

To fill and pack the company product range into a variety of containers either manually or by using a full range of automated and semi-automated packaging equipment

To inspect tablets, capsules and other pharmaceutical products for defects
-
To complete all documentation promptly and accurately to meet the requirements of documentary evidence for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products (GMP) and to carry out in-process checks and batch reconciliations

To maintain housekeeping standards during all packaging procedures

Complete effective line/batch cleaning and clearance including the completion of required documentation.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 4 GCSE's of grade C or above in Maths & English.

Clear and legible handwriting.

Good practical aptitude with good hand and eye coordination along with good dexterity skills.

A high level of attention to detail.
