We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to our team as a IT Field Engineer.
Individuals in this position are responsible for providing excellent support to clients to ensure stable and reliable operation of their systems. This will include providing remote support, configuration and maintenance of network equipment and peripherals. Provide timely and qualitative support. This individual will be required to document all configurations, problems, and resolutions in detail to provide end user training as necessary. We solve client problems, and we are looking for those who love to do so much as we do!

What is the day-to-day job description?
IT Field Work for Simple MONEY!
Schedule tickets / work with Clients / escalate tickets if needed
Enjoy yourself without being micromanaged.
Collaborate with team.
Document and track calls - interactions with Clients
Email Clients
Attend and contribute to weekly meetings with IT team and management
Desired Skills and Experience:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 3-4 years equivalent work experience.
Certifications -A+ or equivalent.
Expert technical knowledge of networking equipment including firewalls, switches, and wireless technologies.
Extensive application support Experience with all Microsoft Products, Windows Server, Symantec Anti-Virus and BackupExec, SQL Server and Microsoft Office products.
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards including TCP/IP and Wireless technology.
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to clients or associates.
Self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Local Travel is required.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand, and power tools, and to handle other computer components.
Lifting and transporting heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers, batteries, and peripherals.
Schedule: 8-hour shift
On-call rotation
Serves as escalation point for helpdesk issues
