We’re looking for a highly motivated Field Service and Logistics Manager to join our team. You will ensure that all Field Service activities at client sites and data centres are executed and there is a sufficient amount of on boarded logistics providers to meet our SLA obligations with clients whilst developing the available capabilities and capacities to support future growth. The successful candidate will be part of a team working reporting directly into the Global Service Delivery Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for logistics and field service performance matches client SLA’s with capacity to meet the current and forecasted (and shared) expected volumes
- Ensure that all relevant SOP’s and other documentation detailing how Logistics and field service tasks exists and is up to date
- Oversee planned workloads and available resources to ensure that financial performance can be protected
- Identify requirements and procure services required, following company onboarding process, to meet expected demand across the region for logistics
- Identify required equipment required to meet expected demand for logistics, and raise required capital expenditure requests with justification in a timely manner. Ensure same is being done for Field Services.
- Develop relevant KPI’s to allow performance to be measured and monitored for all suppliers
- Work closely with IT and Client Operations on solutions for recording all onsite information needed by SLS to validate services performed.
- Work closely with the Commercial teams to understand changes in client needs, and to understand Sales pipeline in order to ensure sufficient capacity is maintained. Also, to ensure that the onsite service and logistics strategies are maintained and assist with the development of new service strategies.
- Serve as the SLS point of contact for client inquiries and escalations, while taking the lead on resolving any questions or issues with Logistics.
- Ensure the required documentation (e.g., Certificates of Data Destruction, Bills of Lading, etc.) for the onsite service is created accurately, provided to the client site contact and/or data center personnel before leaving the site, and all files/documentation is submitted to the Client Operations team within the set SLA.
- Ensure partners are fully trained on handling and packaging standards, to ensure no damage occurs to client equipment in transport.
- Ensure that departmental processes are built within an effective ISO management system framework, and continuous improvement methods (Plan, Do, Check, Act)
- Participate in the design and development of new client driven services, create the necessary departmental practises and processes to delivery these services in a consistent and defined way.
- Work with Business Process and IT teams on new development requirements which are necessary to support the services and processes of the Logistics and Field Services departments, including solution design and deployment to live environment.
- Must be prepared to travel across EMEA region as required.

Qualifications
- Experience of team leadership, project management or procurement in a professional environment
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: field services management, server de-installations, server management, IT equipment de-installations, IT hardware management, sub-contractor management.
- Experience in managing personnel across multiple countries is preferable.
- Ability to effectively use Project Management and business management skills and lead multiple projects. ITIL or PM qualification preferable.
- Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and marketplace associated within Field Services and Logistics in a technical environment, or within the ITAD industry.
- Full UK driving licence
