We are looking for a Field Operations Manager to be based at Deptford. This is a Monday-Friday position.
We are paying between £34,400- £47,000 depending on skills and experiences.
What you will be doing
- You will be directing and developing a team of technicians and/or contractors to deliver excellent customer service and operational performance in Clean Water Networks across a defined geographical area.
- Performance managing a field operations team to deliver operational asset maintenance, customer service targets and supporting efficient completion of capital delivery projects.
- Monitor and driving performance against key metrics to make sure all work is responded to in timely fashion.
- Direct and develop technicians by setting measurable goals, holding team meetings, one to one’s, completing PDR process and creating individual development training plans.
- Promote a culture of engagement and motivation within the team.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of work being completed by your team.
- Take team responsibility for safe working practices which comply with company procedures.
- Identify and support the implementation of new initiatives to drive operational efficiency and customer service improvements.
We’re looking for you to:
- The ideal candidate will have experience in directing, developing and performance managing a field-based operatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for this role, and you must have an exceptional standard of organisation and be health, safety and wellbeing aware.
- You will be fully proficient in use of Microsoft Office as well as planning and reporting software.
- Formal influence and management qualifications are desirable (but not essential).
- Knowledge and understanding of the clean water network are desirable (although not essential) as well as the ability to converse with managers and stakeholders.
- Driver’s licence required.
