About the Role:

As a Fibre Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing fibre activities on construction sites for fibre builds. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of projects, guaranteeing that all works are completed punctually and to the highest quality standards. • Determine resource requirements for successful project completion, optimizing efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular status reviews, promptly addressing any challenges and seeking innovative solutions.
  • Develop close working relationships with Co-ordinators, ensuring accurate recording of all workstreams.
  • Supervise all operatives, subcontractors, and associated plant, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Champion health and safety on-site, actively controlling site environment issues.
  • Ensure all project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded, driving success.
  • Thrive in overcoming obstacles, finding solutions to complex issues, and proactively identifying areas for improvement, such as problem-solving on testing, splicing, re-routing, and civils avoidance.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing sub-contractor teams involved in fibre activities.
  • Proficiency in fibre activity processes, including splicing, PIA ducting, and fibre blowing.
  • Valid Streetworks Supervisor ticket, showcasing your expertise and compliance.
