Job description
We are currently recruiting for a well established telecommunications company who are looking for Cable Splicers and Engineers. The role is a full-time permanent basis and they’re looking for a number of candidates to join the team on a long-term project that they’re working on.
As part of this role would include a large amount of travel the company would provide a van, fuel card and tools needed to complete the work.
Typical duties would include:
- Perform splicing and maintenance of fibre optic cables in various environments
- Ensuring daily activities are completed on time in line with project requirements.
- Submitting measure sheets and documentation to the clients as required.
- Recording deviations from plans where needed.
- Raising and reporting any issues that arise while on site.
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience working within a similar high volume splicing role.
- Able to manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to problem solve and think on your feet.
- A full, clean driving licence.
It would be beneficial but isn’t essential if you were NRSWA qualified.
