Job specifics:-
Must be a driver with own car. Experience in Dementia is required. Fluent is Urdu and/or Bangladeshi is a requirement for this post. Must have Right To Work In UK. Full training will be given.
To support an elderly woman in her families home, in all aspects of personal care, maintaining a healthy diet, medication, and companionship, support in the community. This will include waking night shifts.
About the role
As a Care worker for Chiron Healthcare at Home, you would utilize your own vehicle to go to the clients home to support with their daily care and living requirements. We support clients in their own homes with all manner of things, such as:
- Personal care
- Companionship
- Living skills
- Cooking
- Encouragement of social activities
No day is ever the same in the most positive of ways.
Role duties
- Support with personal hygiene tasks
- Administering medication
- Domestic tasks
- Maintaining a healthy diet
- Management of health conditions
- Following care plans
- Supporting current lifestyle of the individual
- Support with integration into the local community
- Support with weekly shopping
- Support with going to any appointments
Job Type 35 hours per week, on a rolling rota basis.
About the client
This is an elderly lady who has dementia. She lives at home with her family in Northampton. Does not speak English, so requires a female carer who is fluent is Urdu and/or Bangladeshi.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-35 per week
Salary: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
