Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We are proud to be a female only service with only female support staff. We have a Person-Centred Approach, and this is visible in the support plans and in our home. We support people to access the wider community, community facilities and activities that are person centred. The staff team is diverse, supportive, approachable, and engaging.
This is an all female service located in the Oakwood area of Leeds. It consist of 4 bedrooms and communal areas. The property also benefits from a large garden surrounding the property which is accessible to all the residents.
This service is right in the heart of the Oakwood community, benefiting from an array of local amenities.
- Going to the hairdressers to get our hair done
- Getting our nails done professionally
- Arts and Crafts – making rings and bracelets.
- Going out on day trips with trained staff
- Listening to ‘Elvis and Max Bygraves’.
- Attending the theatre (musicals), and going to live shows to see ‘Elvis’
- Going out with staff to the local market, charity shops and visiting other cities.
- We enjoy a variety of meals and enjoy having our meals out
- Having a good sing song on the karaoke
3 staff on an early shift, 3 staff on a late shift, 1 waking night
We need you to be flexible, reliable, and non-judgemental.
