Female Personal Assistant/Support Worker (EQUALITY ACT 2010 SCHEDULE 9, PART 1 APPLIES)

About me:
A 12-year-old girl who has a rare genetic condition - which results in partial sight, general delay physical delay poor balance and coordination
Hours and rate of pay:
6-8 hours a week – Tuesday to Thursday
£14.50 Per Hour
The post will include 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata)
Location: Watford
DBS/Checks:
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required and a full valid UK driving license.
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training:
Mandatory training for Personal Assistants (Children)
- Safeguarding Children
- Introduction to first aid
- Health and Safety
What you would be doing…
Supporting with homework after school. Take to therapy sessions, or doing a play activity with her at home or at the park if the weather is nice.
Support with bathing and getting her ready for bed. May also need you to serve her food
The person I would like…
Looking for PA that is playful and patient who can be company for DP Holder and who can act as an educational helper as well as a personal assistant.
Essential to like children, and have a caring nature.

Would like someone who has worked with SEN children - preference would be some sort of teaching training or nannying
PA will need to drive, have own car, business insurance
