Female Personal Assistant Carer (Support Worker)
Morning Shift:
3-hour shifts (6:30 am to 9:30 am) Tuesday & Thursday
Rate: £14.00 per hour
Location: Dartford
Duration: Permanent
I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support with my personal, health and social care and domestic needs.
I am a 23-year-old female and I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2, which has profoundly weakened my voluntary muscles, resulting in me being unable to weight-bear. As a result, I am a full-time powered wheelchair user, my respiratory system is compromised and the majority or my nutrition is met via a gastrostomy.
I have recently graduated from the University of Sussex with a master’s in chemistry 1st class honours.
I am now living back at home with my Mum, Dad, and dog.
I am looking for two personal assistants to support me with my morning routine.
My morning routine includes:
- Moving and handling (hoisting)
- Washing and dressing
- Application of spinal brace and ankle splints (TLSO and AFOs)
- Medication via gastrostomy
Hours: 3-hour shift (6.30am-9.30am) Tuesday and Thursday
Applicants must be kind, patient, discreet and caring.
Past care experience is not essential, as full training will be given.
