Job Description

Care Assistant - Sandwell and Birmingham

Morning Shift - 7am -2.30pm / Evening shift - 3pm-10pm

£10.42 per hour

£11.50 Level 3 Qualifieds

TIER 2 Sponosrship available for Full Time Drivers or Moped Drivers with own bike and after completion of 3 months probation.

Please note: You must be a driver with a access to your own vehicle, or be willing to complete CBT Bike Training and buy your own Moped within the probationary period).

At Home1st we provide practical support to vulnerable people within the community and you will help assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care and cleaning.

Previous experience to be a community care worker is not required as full in house training and support will be given, but previous experience in care can be helpful.

You will need a caring nature, be patient and have a positive mentality to your work. In return, you will receive excellent rates of pay, flexible working patterns, and the knowledge that you have will make a huge difference to the day of the people you care for.

Duties:

· Meal preparation

· Light household tasks (laundry, washing up and vacuuming)

· Personal care (showering, pad changes, toileting and bathing)

· Documenting daily activities with service users
