Your role @Chanel:

The Fashion Retail Learning Partner position is tasked with proactively and reactively ensuring our Boutique staff have the skills & expertise to consistently deliver an exceptional experience to our clients. The successful candidate will be based in our New Bond Street Boutique, dedicated to the development of the store team as well as support training in the Academy on a few key training priorities. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be highly collaborative, proactive, and organised in their approach.
Proven competence in delivering client experience and product training within a luxury environment and experience in coaching are essential. Experience in driving performance and growth are also vital for this role. Management experience within a retail environment will provide a strong foundation for this role, as the candidate will be required to drive learning working in collaboration with Boutique Management.
Primarily based in one of our New Bond Street Boutique in London, occasional travel within the Region may be required as per the needs of the business.
Store based with 80% of time spent in store and 20% in Academy/Office.

What impact you can create at Chanel:

  • Working with the Academy team and Boutique Training team in the successful design, development, and facilitation of training solutions for CHANEL Boutique employees.
  • Developing a responsive learning strategy for your dedicated Boutique in line with needs of the team identified through discovery and analysis.
  • Co-develop the core training curriculum for the year ahead in line with strategic training priorities and support in budget management.
  • Instrumental in designing and rolling out a relevant in-boutique onboarding programme for new starters, in collaboration with the Fashion Training team and Brand Education Manager to facilitate Bonjour CHANEL! New Hire Induction programme – in-class and digital.
  • Ensure that learning and development programs are consistent with the CHANEL mission and culture.
  • Create engaging, outcomes-driven, and experiential learning experiences and to support in the implementation of blended learning solutions - fully integrated training and development solutions that are delivered in-person and online.
  • Supporting Boutique management in the organisation and delivery of morning briefs.
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of Collections Training to ensure alignment of messages across UK Boutique network.
  • To measure and report on effectiveness of training.
  • Drive connectivity between Academy and New Bond Street Boutique.
  • Exemplify the CHANEL culture and philosophies of the organization and act as a role model for others
  • Act as a digital learning ambassador and inspire teams to take self-led learning initiative with Inside Fashion Learning app.
