About the Fashion Production Assistant position:

As the business continues to grow, we are now looking for one Fashion Production Assistant to join our team in London. You will not only be involved in the essential fashion production phases, managing and coordinating the full production cycle, but also have the chance to learn the latest innovative fabric and techniques. You must possess a ‘can-do’ attitude with a keen eye for detail. This role will need to consistent communication with the manufacturing team in China, a fluent language skill in Mandarin Chinese would be highly appreciated.

Key responsibilities:

  • Product management across multiple clients/brands and seasons incl. fabric sourcing, preparing tech packs, supervision of sample development process ensuring product design elements and technical details are accurately understood and considered by the factory
  • Setting up accurate delivery schedules and following up with the factory on a daily basis
  • Managing the Critical Path of various projects with the factory and making sure they meet key dates, and production runs on time
  • Manage and keep track of hundreds of samples
  • Continually update all relevant stake holders of any changes to the information/timescales

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in fashion retail buying or merchandising is desirable
  • Passion for fashion and understanding for the product development within Womenswear
  • Language skills in Mandarin Chinese is highly appreciated.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, pro-active mentality with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solver and decision maker – focusing on solutions
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Salary: From £24,000.00 per year
