Job description
Mona Dairy is the most modern dairy in Europe, built with sustainability in mind. The factory is the first at scale cheese-making facility to have been built in the last 25 years in the UK, so you could say it has “matured” cheese making! We are set to blend the best ingredients, processes and technology to create tasty speciality cheese.
The facility, based on Anglesey, North Wales, acts as far as it can, in a circular fashion, recycling its heat and water and using its waste produce for bi-products such as animal feed. Our aim is for all of the energy that powers it, to come from renewable sources.
The Dairy also acts consciously in terms of its relationships with its workers, farmers, land and livestock. It prioritises fair working conditions and pay, whilst looking to promote the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices wherever possible.
