Job description
The right individual for this job will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety and a desire to work with a fun and dedicated team of professionals. Our Farm Worker will also need to be able to lift heavy items and use hand tools such as shovels and pitchforks. You will be required to drive tractors and other farm vehicles and must have the appropriate experience and licence.
You will be working with cattle and sheep experience in stock management is highly desirable but not a deal breaker.
In carrying out your job responsibilities, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's plants and animal areas, fertilising crops and animals, and driving tractors around the farm.
We can not provide accommodation at the moment and will not provide sponsorship for overseas staff.
Responsibilities:
- Harvest crops.
- Apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers when needed.
- Understand soil erosion prevention techniques.
- Understand farming laws.
- Monitor and inspect water quality in irrigation ditches.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£13.50 per hour
