Job description
Kingshill Farm at Shuttleworth College is looking for a Farm Operative – Livestock and Arable to join our team. The Farm Operative will assist the farm manager with day-to-day operations on the farm.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience in a farm-related role, and the ability to undertake routine duties across arable, livestock and machinery operations. They will hold a level 3 qualification in agriculture or a similar relevant subject area alongside awards in tractor driving and forklift operations. They will also be able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to maintaining high standards of farm animal welfare.
The farm is a working learning environment for our students and the successful candidate will be required to provide technical support to teaching staff during practical sessions and routine farm activities.
