About the Role
Reporting into our Farm Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for woodland and countryside maintenance across our estate, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard.
Duties and responsibilities
- Coppicing, Planting, Staking, clearing fallen branches, Pruning, Ride Maintenance, Thinning.
- Tractor Driving for farm related tasks.
- Chain Sawing, Felling, Chipping, Wood Processing.
- General Fencing, gateway Management.
- Garden Maintenance, Hedge Cutting, Mowing, Weed Control.
- Property Maintenance.
- Minor Building Work.
- General Landscaping and Field Drainage.
- Plumbing for water supply to fields.
About you
You will be an experienced forestry, farm or estate worker who enjoys a varied role where no day is the same and working as part of a team. You will also be a hard-working and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working outdoors. A full driving license, tractor driving experience, chainsaw qualifications/certification and PA1 and 6 Spraying Certificates are required for this position.
Salary
This opportunity is a permanent contract working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. There might be an element of weekend working to this position during busy times. A competitive salary of £26,062.40 is offered plus a range of associate benefits.
