Your main duties will include: The co-ordination of the high risk family history patients for Nottingham, Lincoln and Kings Mill Making and changing appointments using the Medway, NBSS and CRIS systems Monitor the unreported radiology reports on CRIS Responsible for sending out results To work with members of the MDT team to ensure all positive high risk results go through an MDT meeting Booking of specialised investigations i.e. mammotomes& markers, recording these in the diary and informing the appropriate people where necessary To be able to give advice and information pertaining to the National Breast Screening Programme to medical staff and members of the general public Additional duties include: Word process clinical letters from audio dictation, using Winscribe Create correspondence as appropriate from predefined templates Use judgement and initiative to prioritise the importance/urgency of particular requests within defined guidelines Reduce and cancel clinics The making and receiving of telephone calls to/from patients/GPs dealing with sensitive issues in a confidential manner and with empathy The co-ordination and running of the gene positive tea party Managing the Genie Girls Facebook page Attend meetings and take minutes To capture data on all patients and assist in the development of systems To create genetic posters for training days, as appropriate Responsible for adding patients to the partial booking waiting list Responsible for dealing with consultant, nurse and visitor queries Distributing and opening incoming mail timely and dealing with appropriately Support and mentor new staff Undertake any other duties, which may reasonably be required
