THE COMPANY

A well-known legal company in Stafford, who cover all legal requirements for individuals and businesses are recruiting for an experienced Family Branch Manager for their Stafford office. This is a full-time permanent position to start asap. The firm is a successful multi-office practice, who deliver a range of services to clients based locally and further afield. They have a good reputation and are a leading Legal firm who pride themselves on providing an elevated level of client care.

THE ROLE

Our client is currently recruiting for a Family Branch Manager with at least 5+ years PQE practicing in Family Law. There is an opportunity for remote working, enabling the team to spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office. You will be responsible for managing a range of overseeing a branch of staff and dealing with your own clients on Family matters including divorce and financial settlement. You will be managing your own caseload attempting to resolve complex claims and reach settlement outside of court through alternative dispute resolution. Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing court documents such as pleadings or witness statements and consulting with a variety of other professionals including psychologists, doctors, social workers, and police officers. You will manage a team, including all HR related matters and be responsible for the P&L of the branch.

REQUIREMENTS

You will have experience managing a range of Family matters including Divorce, Financial and ideally Pre & Post-nuptial agreements, excellent communication, and IT skills with previous experience of private practice in family law. You will have a solid understanding of financial remedies and a solid background of working in the areas of Divorce, Financial, Unmarried couples & Property Disputes and Children. you will have excellent drafting and communication skills. Experience in advising clients in relation to prenuptial, post nuptial, separation and cohabitation agreements would be an advantage. You will also have management experience and be able to motivate a team of staff.

COMPANY BENEFITS

A good annual salary depending on qualifications and experience. Hours are full time 9.00am – 5.00pm inclusive of one-hour lunch break, with some hybrid working. Onsite parking and 23 days holiday and company pension scheme.
