We have an exciting opportunity for a Faculty Education and Student Experience Senior Administrator in the Faculty of Arts. The role is part of the existing Education and Student Experience team, which works across the Faculty although you will be based primarily in one of our academic Schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work alongside staff and students to improve the student experience and contribute to developments in education administration.
You will be the primary contact for academic staff in relation to a range of education and student experience activities, working in close liaison with Registry and Academic Affairs and other Professional Service departments. Your duties will include, providing administrative support for programme and quality assurance processes, coordinating and maintaining key information for students e.g., Moodle sites and handbooks, administering the peer mentoring scheme and contributing to projects supporting the education and student experience elements of the Faculty’s Strategic Plan. You will work closely with the Faculty Education and Student Experience Managers and other members of the team, as well as wider School administrative staff, academic colleagues and students.
You should be educated to A level or equivalent plus have experience of working in a relevant role (or considerable relevant experience in a relevant role). In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, IT skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will have experience of building strong working relationships with colleagues across an organisation and managing a high workload with competing demands. Knowledge of University procedures and systems is desirable.

This is a permanent, full time role (36.25 hours). Arrangements for job share may be considered. This post is currently open to hybrid working, with a minimum expectation of two full days on campus. Details regarding working arrangements can be discussed during the interview process.
