Spink and Thackray Bookbinders, established 1872 - seeking for new staff to join our bindery team within busy family run business.
Suitable candidate must be self-motivated and hard working. You will be part of a small and versatile team although training will be provided by our experienced staff. Good time keeping is imperative.
Job suitable for all age groups.
Basic computer skills required
As a factory worker, suitable candidate will be trained on various binding machinery by our skilled staff.
Packing and unpacking bound books / periodical issues into/from boxes.
Good team worker and able to work utilising own initiative being self- motivated.
Able to demonstrate the ability to learn and operate small bindery machinery.
Undertake visual quality inspection of finished bindings.
Full time 37.5hrs per week,
