About us
The British Wax Refining Company Ltd is a 100+ year old established family business making specialised waxes for a wide range of consumer and professional uses such as candles, beauty, personal care, food and drink coatings. We have recently built a new HQ on the Holmethorpe Industrial Estate in Redhill, Surrey and are in the process of moving most of our manufacturing operation over to it.
Job Description
We are looking for someone to join us in our busy operation in Redhill where we manufacture and distribute wax based products.
The job involves:
- Filling, weighing and packing a variety of containers and boxes
- Pouring liquid wax into moulds
- Loading and unloading pallets
- Regularly lifting and carrying weights up to 25kg
- Warehouse duties
- Cleaning and tidying
- On-the-job training will be given
- This is a full time position, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: Starting at £12.73 / hour, increasing to £13.79 / hour after a successful probationary period, usually 6 months
Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
Holidays: 28 days paid holiday per calendar year, including public holidays, rising to 33 over time with length of service
