We are a family-owned business with over 90 years of experience in timber manufacturing. Here at Project Timber, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of great quality wooden garden products and looking after the staff that work for us.
We are looking to drive further growth and need to increase capacity to be ready for, and deliver for, the upcoming seasons. As a result we currently need you to join us as a Machine Operator.

Your Responsibilities as a Machine Operator will include:
- Feeding and unloading machines.
- Ensuring the machine is set correctly and operating effectively.
- Meeting the targets set for the machine each day.
- Keeping your work area clean and tidy.
- Personal development plans to improve your performance.
- Performance-related bonuses are available.
- Full training will be provided.
We will provide full training for this role and you will be trained on the tools required and how to select the correct material. You will work in individual areas, but will be part of a wider team responsible each day for the manufacture of a particular module.
Job Details:
- Due to the location, your own transport is desirable.
- We offer a basic wage of £13.57 Per Hour with Piece Rate Bonus and development opportunity.
- Working pattern is 6:30am - 15:30pm Monday to Friday.
