Freelance Drama Facilitator - East Anglia (Must be based in or near Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds)
Here at Bonanza Creative we are a small dynamic team, who specialise in the creation and delivery of unique training and educational packages that engage all participants. We provide a positive experience for all pupils / students and delegates by delivering alternative and creative learning experiences. We believe, by making the experience memorable, the learning is established for life.
We are currently seeking freelance Arts Facilitators / teachers to deliver creative, drama-based workshops in primary schools. The workshops are STEM / Drama based, and teach the children about Carbon Monoxide (CO) and how to stay safe in a fun and age appropriate way.
We have been running these creative educational workshops on behalf of the UK’s largest Gas Distribution Network over the last 7yrs. Following it's huge success, we are expanding the programme to help deliver this work, over the next 2-3 years and potentially beyond.

Job Description:
Delivery: Our workshops are offered as live sessions in schools so delivery is predominantly in person but on occasion, virtually via Teams. There are 2 different workshops (KS1 & KS2) that you would be trained to deliver. These work together to embed the learning throughout primary years. You can find more information below:

Additionally, you would be required to seek feedback following each session by directing teachers to complete an online questionnaire. You would also promote the workshops we offer to encourage new and repeat bookings.
Schedule: Our workshops are offered to schools during term time only and would be delivered within school hours, (9am - 3pm) Mon – Fri. It's 1 x half day workshop per class, although we typically book full days (2 workshops per day) whenever possible.
You would need a minimum of 3 day's per week where you are generally available and would be expected to notify us should other freelance work arise and where you are no longer available. Additionally, whilst we have a growing number of schools that we re-visit year on year, we are unable to guarantee a set number of days work. Bookings are allocated as received from the schools.
Travel: Driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. You would be required to travel to schools across the East Anglia. All applicants must live in or near Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds.
All of our Arts facilitators require an enhanced DBS certificate which we would arrange on your behalf if required.
