POSITION SCOPE & SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining facilities by assuring all facilities and plant equipment are functioning, clean, orderly, project an attractive image, and are in compliance with relevant regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will perform minor and routine building maintenance tasks and arrange for the repair and upkeep of required equipment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain exterior grounds including but not limited to: picking up garbage in yard, and around office and other public areas this location.
2. Efficient and independent in all aspects of maintenance and repair of the facilities including Plumbing, HVAC, electrical etc.
3. Efficient and independent in carpentry repair, construction, and installation of building equipment, fixtures, and other capital improvement projects.
4. Assist in performing machine moves, hook-ups and placements as requested.
5. Follows all safety requirements.
6. Maintain major facility systems and infrastructure including; computerized building control and monitoring systems, power and lighting systems, compressed gasses and vacuum, air supply and ventilation, DI water systems, sanitary facilities and plumbing
7. Rearrange office areas as requested; move furniture, computers, etc.
8. Monitor office equipment and undertake or arrange for the repairs by contacting appropriate technicians and oversee repairs
9. Provide instruction to new employees as to the proper use of security badges and related building access and equipment
10. Monitor the temperature throughout the facility, making needed adjustments to maintain the comfort of employees
11. Maintain the parking lots, stairwells and walkways and assists with grounds cleanup maintenance duties
12. Other Duties as assigned by management; including machine PM and repair.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be 18 years of age
2. Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
3. Ability to understand English (verbal and written)
4. Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
5. 1-5 years of experience with carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, electrical and maintenance repair.
6. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and or operation or machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distance close to the eyes.

We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $18.00 - $23.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
