Job description

We are looking to appoint a Facilities Supervisor who has a wealth of experience under their belt and is looking for a company who can provide them with new opportunities and career progression. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis across our Northern sites in Sheffield and Bradford. This will require travel from site-to-site, and in return, receive a very competitive salary.

Our Facilities Supervisor will be working alongside our Facilities Manager to make sure the daily running of all sites based facilities is functioning by ensuring that all aspects of our facilities are meeting the required legal guidelines. You will be responsible for seeing the overall planning, coordination and delivery of activities to ensure the smooth running and upkeep of all our sites, and will have support from the Facilities Manager. You will be welcomed into our Business Support team who are forward-thinking and encourage one another to create innovative solutions to issues.

Responsibilities of our Facilities Supervisor will include:

  • Maintain MHE data –to ensure that the site fleet is maintained and working and fully compliant with servicin and LOLER.

  • Facilities Management – Review Red & Amber flag report by site and action accordingly.

  • Reactive Works – Update and review entries, prioritising works and where necessary, escalating problems to the Facilities Manager

  • Support & Coordination – Support the Facilities Manager, coordinate meetings as required and escalate any matters of concern.

  • Continuous Improvement - Contributing and updating documentation to the Teams sites, and ensuring documentation is consistent by adhering to document guidelines and templates.

  • Waste Management – Control the management of the site waste including ad hoc requirements and supervision on the upkeep of site equipment

  • New site openings – assist the Facilities Manager with opening responsibilities for all new site openings occasional working away overnight or travelling will be required.

What we are looking for in our Facilities Supervisor:

  • Experience with facility management and relevant regulations.
  • Must have a driving licence.
  • Flexible to travel. Site visits are required to manage contractors, site audits & also to support the team.
  • Environmental qualification/experience of ISO 14001 implementation would be desirable.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
