Job description
Responsibility for the Bank’s property portfolio across a district of the UK. This role is vitally important to ensure the efficient operation of the district and UK network of branches. The role involves co-ordinating, directing and managing all facilities and premsies management activity across the regions.
The role willbe based with in a district, responsible for a large property portfolio and will require cover to be provided to other districts.
Main ResponsibilitiesManage faciliities services across the district and UK property portfolio where required.
Maintain a good working knowledge of various areas of commercial property/facilities managements laws/ H&S regulations applicable to the Bank.
Maintain a good working relationship with senior mangement, regional office staff, branch and UK departments across the portfolio.
Maintain a good understanding and application of heath & safety laws, policies and guidelines, advising staff/depts and branches accordingly. Ensure H&S compliance is managed effectively through out the regions ensuring records are available and up to date.
Liaising with surveyors, building managers, solicitors, and branch managers on property related matters.
Regional disaster recovery control group member with specific responsibility for co-ordination and testing.
Support the districts and branches in managing and maintaining planned preventative, reactive maintenacne and life cycle programmes making sure that they are compliant.
Support in the procurement of contractors that demonstrate value for money and is managed in line with Handelsbanken Instructions and due diligence is documented.
Assist in the contribution and delivery of the UKSF and regional office business plans and management of the cost centre including approval of invoices where required.
Working with the team to ensure the highest level of customer service in FM.
Oversee. lead and project manage of branch refurbishment, renovations and small works ensuring that all work is completed to Handelsbanken standard, monitoring performance and health and safety. including knowledge of CDM Regs 2015.
Completion of audits across the property portfolio providing reports where necessary.
Provide advice and guidance on utilities, energy management, feminine hygiene, waste disposal including confidential waste.
Support the branches in delivering physical and environmental control standards across the district branch portfolio.
