Assistant Facilities Manager

We are currently working alongside a leading Facilities Management company to recruit an Assistant Facilities Manager on a permanent basis in Fareham
The Assistant Facilities Manager will performance manage our soft services streams and provide administrative support to our management team enabling a more efficient service to our client. They would be responsible for supervising the cleaning, caretaking and front of house teams ensuring performance and compliance. The successful candidate will be a good communicator with a proactive approach to working and have solid IT skills. This is a new role which has been developed to support the core operations and help improve our efficiency of delivery.
The successful candidate will have:
- Soft Services management
- An understanding of Hard FM would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work within a fast-paced environment
- Proven IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word etc.) + ability to pick up bespoke systems
You would be responsible for:
- Day to day relationship with local client representatives
- Day to day management of soft service teams
- Carrying out regular site audits and risk assessments
- Helping to create reports and capture relevant data that demonstrate compliance and assurance
- Delivering effective education and training to operational staff
- Assisting senior management team when needed
