Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Facilities to join us in Hammersmith.
The Senior Manager, Facilities will be responsible for supporting the global Facilities organization, including physical safety and security, leading operational facilities for our UK offices. The Senior Manager, Facilities delivers on a strategic/tactical and operational level, responsible for all facilities operational services and processes that support the core business, as well as managing risks and related protocols.
What will you be doing?
  • Creating an optimal employee experience related to services provided by LG facilities. Create offices where people feel free, safe and welcomed.
  • Management and delivery of complete range of hard and soft services on behalf of Liberty Global, through directly employed FM workforce as well as management of outsourced service providers
  • Developing rules and operational standards in agreement with relevant stakeholders.
  • Recommending and developing plans and policies relating to the needs of the company.
  • Managing and mitigating risks related to the responsibilities of the FM department.
  • Monitors spend and financial forecasting (both Opex and Capex). Focuses on using best business practice to improve efficiencies and operating costs
  • Management of assigned activities and projects within our own department or with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies. Reviews and evaluates projects in progress.
  • Proficient in the planning, operation, and supervision of the buildings and the knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements required.
  • Optimizing vendor performance through effective SLA and performance management
  • Taking the SME Facilities role in tender processes
  • Development and provision of data/metrics/reporting towards management on services, budget, quality, risk, and other
  • Project Management of refurbishment projects.
  • Management and development of our technology tools.
We tend to look for people with:
  • In depth experience in value-add, proactive Facilities Management
  • Multi-site experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong customer service skills & powers of negotiation
  • Competency in problem solving and negotiation.
  • Excellent understanding of budget formats and reports
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams of personnel
  • Team player but also ability to function independently and proactively
  • Good understanding of the office of the future and technology that is linked to this.
  • Project management experience supported by a qualification (desirable)
  • Knowledge of technical areas/buildings and responsibilities of FM management
