We have a great opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Facilities Manager in the Asset & Regeneration Team. The team set the strategic direction for the management and investment in all our homes and other premises across the organisation.

About the role

This critical role for Karbon will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all our offices, managing service contracts across all our communal blocks to demonstrate value for money and continuous improvement of our workspaces. You will contribute towards our future workplace strategy and take the lead on planning and delivery on office changes and refurbishment projects.

Working within our Asset and Regeneration team, you will be working with our Head of Regeneration to provide high quality facilities services across the organisation. An ability to build relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders is essential to the success of the role.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised, collaborative individual with excellent communication skills who can bring fresh ideas and innovation to the Facilities Management role.

Ideally you will have experience of successfully managed existing office portfolios and service contracts and introduced and developed new strategic ideas and efficient processes.

You will need to travel across our different office locations and work collaboratively with other teams across the organisation and manage a busy workload. It’s an exciting time to be joining Karbon Homes as we look to redesign our existing workplaces to adapt to a new agile, hybrid way of working.

- Facilities Manager – permanent role

- Salary is £43,063 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,152 per annum

- Location: Gosforth or Greengates office

- Regular travel will be required

- 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
