The role
As a Facilities Maintenance Assistant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Providing soft FM support to Babcock properties and assisting the site supervisory team, ensure that contracted services are delivered on time.
Day to day, you’ll
- Use of appropriate tools and equipment in a safe manner in order not to harm user or others.
- Reporting issues in an agreed prompt manner to the site supervisory team.
- Escorting contractors on site,
- Limited use of a computer for emails and to upload work, (training will be given)
- Carry out inspections on equipment to ensure it is serviceable and compliant.
- Help to maintain the buildings to current legislation and ensure a safe working environment.
- Cleaning services
- Meter Reading
- Security
- Spot checks.
- Providing support to maintenance activity
- Provide support to the site supervisory team in the delivery of Hard FM service as required. Be willing to work occasional weekend / Out of hours to deliver OoH works
Essential experience of the Facilities Maintenance Assistant
- Candidate will need to demonstrate a good level of communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence
This role is full time and is based on site at RAF Valley
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
