Fabricator
£12.50 p/hr
Hours: 8:00am – 16:30pm
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading manufacturing company on a permanent basis offering training and development. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Fabricator. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work within the current team in the manufacturing of high-quality agricultural machinery, manufacturing both sub and main assemblies.
Must be able to work on your own or as part of a team and to relay clear & accurate information onto other staff members. Prompt timekeeping - both personally and with regards to meeting strict production deadlines. A clear understanding of Health & Safety within a busy factory. A high level of attention to detail on all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring exacting standards are met. A pro-active attitude to problem solving.
This role includes:
- Cutting, assembling, and welding Windows & Doors
- Using various machines
- Prepping jobs ready for customers to collect
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a similar role.
- Have a good level of Maths and English as it would be beneficial to enable the applicant to read and understand the manufacturing paperwork and fabrication manuals
- Be a good team player & have a high level of self-motivation
- Be physically fit due to the heavy lifting involved
