Fabrication Team Leader
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabrication Team Leader to oversee our client's small welding/fabrication workshop that specialises in light and heavy fabrication. As a Fabrication Team Leader, you will be responsible for steel and time quotation, work inspection, and taking measurements for projects. In addition, you will be supervising a team of 5-6 fabricators, ensuring their work meets the highest quality standards, and meeting clients to discuss project requirements.
The typical working hours for this role are 7 am - 3:30 pm, with rare occasions where the team leader might have to work 4 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 12 am depending on the project requirements. While some travel might be required to check jobs, it won't be frequent.
In terms of benefits, we offer a company car, SSP, 1.5x overtime pay for work over 40 hours, and an extra day off for special occasions. Additionally, for bank holidays or night shifts, we offer a 2.0x pay rate.
