Salary Circa £28k +
The Company
Airtastic is Irelands leading family entertainment venue with a number of locations throughout NI and ROI. The company’s latest venture is the acquisition of the very popular Lisburn Bowl. As it stands the business is a very busy Bowling Alley, Arcade and a licensed restaurant.
Further development to the site will see additional activities created on the 1st floor to make the venue an activity centre for all ages with a strong F&B offering.
The Role
The person we are looking for will assume responsibility for the restaurant and bar and aim to offer a casual but quality dining experience. Customer service is paramount, and this must be executed with efficiency, provide a great quality product which represents excellent value to the customer.
You will manage the F&B team and restaurant side of the business as part of our management structure and will be supported by the centre GM and AGM.
You will also have further responsibilities such as ordering, stock control and additional duty manager shifts running the overall centre.
The Person
The person will have worked at least to an Assistant/Duty Manager Level in a fast-paced F&B environment. You will have managed strong teams and should have the ability to inspire by leading by example. You will be a motivational leader that can create a strong team ethos.
Attitude is everything. You need to be willing to learn, lead and to contribute, all with the aim of providing great service. You will be able to understand and accept a level of accountability but also be able to create this ethos within your team.
Responsibilities
· Overseeing the efficient day to day running of the restaurant and other F&B offerings.
· Managing the profitability of the restaurant by overseeing the stock management system and maintaining the consistency of our food and drink offering.
· Oversee all weekly ordering and ensure that all stock is managed in terms of wastage and quality guidelines.
· Oversee all HACCP and safe and legal compliance on a daily basis.
· Present yourself in a professional manner and inspire your team to uphold company standards.
· Maximise the overall customer experience, by providing a friendly, warm and knowledgeable service and building a close rapport with a wide variety of guests.
· Respond efficiently and accurately to all forms of customer feedback.
· Oversee efficiencies to maximise sales and the turnaround of tables within the restaurant.
· Co-ordinate, organise and plan weekly and daily shifts and assist with team rotas.
· Manage and control labour costs within the parameters of a fast-paced restaurant.
· Recruit and complete HR processes for new team members within the needs of the business
· Develop, coach and train staff to ensure that high levels of service are maintained, while continually driving staff product knowledge
· Leading, coaching, and supporting a full team during busy periods.
· Ensure high levels of cleanliness throughout the premises with a strong focus on attention to detail.
· Assisting with any cash handling, completing cash sheets, and other daily/weekly reports
· Lastly and most importantly, a strong work ethic with a positive attitude that reflects throughout the team, particularly during busy times in our fast-paced environment.
Experience
· Proven experience working in a fast-paced F&B environment at Assistant/Duty Manager level or above
· Strong Leadership, motivational and people skills
· Bar Experience preferable but not essential
· Overall, a great attitude and a passion for customer service
Working Hours
Full Time - 40 hours. Due to the nature of the business, shifts will include a mixture of days, evenings and weekends.
