Jaguar Land Rover Classic is the official source of authentic cars, expert services, genuine parts and unforgettable driving experiences for owners and enthusiasts of classic Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles worldwide.

Our rapidly growing team of highly skilled engineers and specialist teams are dedicated to creating and supplying outstanding vehicles, from our Reborn and Bespoke restorations (for both brands) to building exclusive Continuation cars, such as the Jaguar C-type and D-type. We also offer pre-owned Works Legends cars for sale, as well as vehicle health checks, servicing and maintenance for customers and a wide-ranging experiential programme.


In addition, Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts provides genuine parts for owners, caring for vehicles that have been out of production for 10 years or more. We provide the highest level of service and deliver tens of thousands of Genuine Parts to thousands of customers across the world, directly from the home of Classic.


WHAT TO EXPECT

This role is pivotal in the delivery of Jaguar Land Rover Classic’s Experiences strategy including the creation, promotion, and execution of luxury B2B and B2C events. These events generate profit for the Jaguar Land Rover Classic business, as well as creating new enquiries and customer opportunities, therefore enhancing our brand.

Leveraging the Jaguar Land Rover Classic vehicle collection, you will work closely with colleagues from Sales, Marketing Communications, and Operations to deliver world-class ‘money can’t buy’ experiences to customers and brand partners. This is a unique role that will suit a creative, commercially astute and customer focused individual, and an opportunity to develop a small ‘start up’ business within Jaguar Land Rover Classic that results in real business value.


Candidates will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement a profitable luxury enthusiast experiences business utilising the Jaguar Land Rover Classic collection, as well as our Warwickshire and Essen based Classic Works facilities and partner locations.
  • Leverage and develop a network of luxury brand partners to enhance experience offerings and find new audiences to showcase Jaguar Land Rover Classic.
  • Work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to promote experiences on JLR Classic DX, social channels, and other platforms – all with CI appropriate branding, embracing modern luxury principals, ensure both visual standards and legal governance are met in promotional materials.
  • Define the standards for a Jaguar Land Rover Classic experience in keeping within the guidelines of Jaguar Land Rover and the benchmarks set by the Classic business.
  • Regularly benchmark competitors and conduct market research to identify new opportunities for experiences.
  • Be customer facing and represent Classic in a professional manner exuding passion for both Jaguar and Land Rover, the Classic business, and our vehicles.
  • Engage wider teams from Jaguar Land Rover to support objectives, including but not limited to Global PR Teams, National Sales Centres, Internal Comms.
  • Support internal requests from teams within Jaguar Land Rover that require use of the Collection vehicles or our facilities.
  • Handle sales and service referrals from experiential events correctly and quickly in a GDPR compliant manner.
  • Raise preparation instructions for Jaguar Land Rover Classic Collection vehicles working closely with the Collection Manager.
  • Provide support to the Events Specialist as and when required.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential:

  • Experience of successfully managing stakeholders to deliver business objectives
  • Excellent people handling skills, including the ability to influence and inspire
  • Experience of budget planning and management; numerate and commercially astute
  • Ability to create and present a business case
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at any one time
  • Effective time management and a determination to “get the job done”
  • High level of capability with Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Full and clean UK driving licence
  • Have a track record of previously hosting and running events


Preferrable:

  • Have an in depth and credible knowledge of the brand
  • Be known and respected by the wider Jaguar Land Rover or classic community
  • Be knowledgeable of competitors and associations connected to the brand
  • Have a strong network of people and organisations that would be beneficial to the role’s objectives
  • Fluent in one or more Foreign languages would be beneficial
  • Strong interest in luxury brands, products and services
