Job description
THG LABS offers a unique end-to-end service specialising in the development and supply of premium beauty and cosmetic products to highly respected brands and retailers on a global scale. We now have over 500 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge, Frome and Radstock – including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 98,000 square foot ever-developing manufacturing site.
We are now searching for positive and pro-active Warehouse Assistants to join our fast-paced Warehouse team at our Radstock site on a full-time basis.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm rotating shifts
Salary: £24,533.60 a year (Currently subject to a review in April 2023)
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for all aspects of stock delivery (including receipt, stock control, picking and despatch) and also proficient in other specialist warehouse duties.
- Safely load and unload goods from delivery lorries using forklift truck (only if authorised) and sign delivery notes as correct acceptance of this.
- Pick and check stock prior to it being sent to filling/packing/customer/commercial, completing all necessary paperwork.
- Complete the data side of all stock movements using computer or handheld to include transferring to appropriate depots or correctly issuing stock.
- Knowledge to include warehousing systems such as sage and use of intranet reports and functions.
- Perform stock checks when required to ensure accuracy, including investigating, and correcting any stock discrepancies.
Requirements
Experience working in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid Pivot Steer Truck Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Valid Counterbalance Licence (essential)
- The ability to effectively prioritise a demanding workload.
