Job description
Experienced skilled labourer/groundworker required to work on private home extensions in the Cheshire region for a Design & Build construction company based in Dukinfield.
Full driving licence required (will be driving a company van) and essential skills needed to complete the following tasks:-
- Laying out and digging foundations
- Basic drainage installation knowledge
- Minor brickwork patching
- Experience with breakthroughs involving steelwork and structural alterations
- Clearing sites/good housekeeping
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Enthusiastic, punctual and able to think for themselves
- Self-starter who is willing to listen & learn
- Physically fit as this is physical and demanding work
- Having 3 years minimum experience as a general labourer
- Good communication skills and patient and polite with customers and other staff members
- Willing to travel to numerous sites throughout the NW using company provided vehicles
- Full driving license
