We are seeking 2 employed mortgage and protection advisers to join our already successful team of 20 mortgage and protection advisers. With our ever-growing client base of 50,000+ for you to access for re-mortgage business, we are also inundated with an overwhelming number of enquiries from first-time buyers looking for assistance onto the property ladder. This is where you come in!

The Role
The role will be split between the office and your home as meetings are currently taking place over video calls. However once we are able to, some appointments may go back to being face to face in the office or client homes.
You will initially during training and probation be expected to be office based. Once you hit certain targets you will be eligible to work from home although a minimum of 2 days in the office will always be required.
You will also be required to work two evenings per week (the last appointment on these days is potentially at 7.30pm and start time would be 6.5 hours before this time).
You will host meetings and provide advice to mortgage clients, from first time buyers to investors and home movers. We are currently inundated with an overwhelming number of enquires from First Time Buyers looking for assistance onto the property ladder - and this is why we need you!
All clients will be expecting to see you and to talk about the services that we offer. This makes this position unique to most sales/advisory roles.
Requirements
The key to your success in this role will be knowledge, preparation and pride in providing the very best advice. As this is a regulated industry, being organised and meticulous when keeping records is vital.
To be successful in this role you will need to be extremely hard-working, driven, professional, motivated, and enthusiastic. It is essential that you become a trusted adviser to your clients and maintain relationships well.
You should also hold relevant mortgage qualifications (CeMap or equivalent) and hold CAS status.
You will also be expected to be very familiar with lender criteria and used to working from a panel of lenders/whole of market and also be familiar with advising on protection.
Protection is a large part of our business so you will be expected to be comfortable and confident with the concept of advising on protection (we will provide full training though expect advisers to be willing to improve in this area as it comprises of 50% of the role).
Experience
A mortgage advice background is essential of at least 12 months as a minimum. Our ideal Mortgage Advisor is;
- CeMAP qualified or equivalent
- Able to prove a track record in generating new business
- Resilient, positive and ambitious
- Able to work under pressure
- Motivated and a self-starter
- Experienced with providing Mortgage & Protection advice
- Have a good understanding of the home buying process
