EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR UHNW PROPERTY IN MAYFAIR

Location: Mayfair, London

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £42,000-£45,000 per annum, Negotiable DOE

Status: Live-out

We are assisting an UHNWI with the recruitment of an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join their household team on a permanent basis. Ensuring that the highest standards are maintained in this luxury property, you will work collaboratively alongside one or two other housekeepers and will report to the Head Housekeeper.

Having a meticulous eye for detail, you will take pride in your work and have terrific knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and high-end finishes. Duties will include general and deep cleaning, laundry and ironing, as well as assisting with wardrobe management when required. The ideal candidate will be a professional and well-presented team player with the ability to follow instructions, yet must also be able to work independently with little supervision when required.

The property is in use about three months of the year (mostly over the summer), so for the majority of the year the role will be focused on ensuring the house is guest-ready and working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9am-5pm. When the property is in use, the role will be 6 days per week and greater flexibility will be required in terms of hours. There are no pets at the property.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen

· Laundry and ironing, including delicates care

· Deep cleaning of all areas – walls, skirting boards, ceilings, etc.

· Polishing silver and glassware

· Cleaning marble, rare woods, and other fine materials

· Unpacking deliveries

· General tidiness and organisation of the home

· Rubbish and recycling management

· Assisting other household staff with duties if required when the property is in use

· Reporting any maintenance issues to the Head Housekeeper

· Ad-hoc duties as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Prior housekeeping experience within a luxury property

· Good work ethic and taking pride in your work

· Team player with the ability to work independently when required

· High standard of spoken English

· Right to live and work in the UK

· Professional and well-presented

· Meticulous eye for detail

· Trustworthy and reliable

· Flexibility in terms of hours and working days when the client is in residence

· London-based

· Excellent checkable references
