We are looking for an experienced and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience training dogs, or is willing to learn, enjoys working with animals, and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have experience in the pet industry, a passion for dog training, and strong customer service skills. It if desirable that the candidate has knowledge on balanced dog training and has actual exprience in the field. If candidate has no experience, showing they have knowledge of the field will suffice.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training plans for dogs.
- Provide instruction to owners on how to train their dogs.
- Observe and assess the progress of dogs in training.
- Maintain records of training sessions and results.
- Utilise and understand balanced dog training.
- Be knowledgeable about canine behaviour and body language.
- Be able to handle a variety of breeds and temperaments.
The Job:
At first you will start with working sundays. You would be taking over our head trainers clients on this day. Travel through different parts of London during this day is neccesary.
Once our head trainer is with maternity leave you will be offered more hours.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: £23,541.00-£26,526.00 per year
