JG Bookkeeping Services are a small bookkeeping practice that have experienced rapid business growth and so are now looking to take on another member of staff to join the team.
Your role will be primarily home based however you will need to pop out to clients sometimes for meetings.
You'll take full ownership of your clients and will be primarily responsible for offering a top class service that our clients have grown to expect.
You'll be involved in all areas of bookkeeping/VAT returns/ payroll and bringing accounts up to TB stage. You'll also take a lot to do with credit control for your clients and generally providing any assistance that they require. Even some admin work to help out when things get busy.
We take on a lot of tidy up work and work with various bookkeeping software's and so you'll need to really know your stuff and be super vigilant at problem solving.
We also run training courses where you'll go out to clients and train them up on their software.

We just ask that you:
- Understand the process of bookkeeping and be able to bring accounts up to TB
- Be an excellent problem solver
- Be someone to can stay on task and follow tasks through to the end.
- Be able to set up and maintain strict processes and understand the importance of processes in business.
- Have a super polite and helpful attitude as well as being diligent and accurate.
- Understand bookkeeping software and have a working knowledge on the Microsoft 365 apps.
- Have confidence in what you do, being able to chat with staff and directors alike as well as deal with accountants from other practices.

Salary: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
