What it's like to work here:As the Experience and Visitor Programming Manager, you'll be a member of the Property Leadership Team helping set and deliver the future direction for Nymans and Standen.
You'll lead a team of staff and volunteers to create an environment that visitors want to return to again and again, where excellent service underpins all that we do, and who seek opportunities to create a place where everyone is welcome.

What you'll be doing:You'll have specific responsibility for creating and delivering high quality, audience-led programmes, interpretation and experiences that meet the needs of current and future audiences. Close to both Brighton and Crawley you'll think beyond our property boundaries and use your strong networking skills to make links in local communities.
You’ll make sure that our experiences connect audiences with the character and heart of both Nymans and Standen, from the website, to stepping through the door and getting to know us.

- Who we're looking forAn enthusiastic and experienced people manager with the ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional experiences.
- An excellent communicator with experience in building strong relationships externally and internally.
- Significant experience of managing complex budgets and margins to maximise sales and income while controlling costs.
- Proven record of success in business development, using audience insight to improve and develop the visitor experience.
- Able to build upon creative ideas presented through internal and external networks to design, produce and host audience-based experiences.
- Significant experience of managing and assessing operational risk.
