Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking to recruit Band 5 Exercise Professional to join our diverse team of Allied Health Professionals and Support staff who work across a range of clinical specialties within an acute care setting.
The post holders will work alongside colleagues to support the assessment of need across a range of clinical conditions, which present with varying degrees of complexity. As an Exercise Professional you will have direct input into the assessment and treatment of patients who present within acute care, delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recover, promote well-being and optimise independent functioning as far as reasonably possible in all areas of life
We are seeking people who can adapt to changing environment and work well in a team. You will be expected to be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team and build social networks working in partnership with other agencies to identify and address the immediate need
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Exercise Practitioners to provide a high standard of therapeutic interventions. You will work within a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and support staff in the delivery of a safe and responsive service.
The post holder will be self motivated and aspirational, be able to assess in an effective and timely manner in a rapid paced environment. Confidence in enabling patients in positive risk taking, personalised care, assessment of capacity, manual handling, functional assessments and knowledge of the SAFER principles will be enhanced and nurtured within this role.

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
