A unique opportunity has arisen to join SWAAY as a Therapy Manager within our multidisciplinary therapy team, providing specialist therapeutic care for young males who have engaged in inappropriate or harmful sexual behaviour and who have often suffered multiple forms of trauma themselves.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Therapy Manager to be responsible for overseeing the provision of therapeutic services, managing a team of therapists, ensuring the highest quality of care for our young people and representing the organisation in professional and external meetings.
As a Therapy Manager you will have:
- Master’s degree and a recognised qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Health or other relevant profession
- Experience and expertise working with children and young people displaying complicated trauma symptoms
- Supervisory or managerial experience
- Forensic training or experience working within a forensic setting
- Experience working within the field of harmful sexual behaviour is highly desirable

For over 30 years, SWAAY have been providing specialised, high-quality therapeutic care for young males aged 11-18 with developmental trauma, attachment difficulties and who have displayed sexually harmful behaviour

The multidisciplinary therapy team at SWAAY consists of practitioners with a wide variety of qualifications, such as Forensic Psychology, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Therapeutic Counselling, CBT and Dyadic Development Psychotherapy.
