We are looking to recruit an Executive Head Chef to join us at De Vere Latimer Estate who can demonstrate strong kitchen management knowledge and skills, real passion for quality together with a commercial and creative mind. In return you will receive a salary of £65,000 per annum plus the opportunity to earn 20% of your salary as a bonus, Private Healthcare and an enhanced pension scheme plus many additional benefits. As the Executive Head Chef you will be responsible for instructing, supervising, and developing Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties and the kitchen brigade in their daily tasks, and when required assisting them in their preparation of food develop formal training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions for your team while monitoring growth through regular one to ones. You will be involved in menu development with the Group Development Chef to ensure your menu is up to date with seasonal changes. Your Skills & Experience: You have experience of working at a management level in a large hotel or venue with conference and banqueting operations.You have a passion to grow and develop your kitchen brigade and your personality and flair inspires othersYou have a consistent track record of managing and developing the food offering in different businesses, delivering KPI’sYou have a full understanding of stock management and recipe creation in a safe kitchen environment The Pay & Benefits: At De Vere we pay attention to the thoughtful details that inspire the loyalty of our permanent colleagues.
