Children’s service in East Riding are ‘Good’, we have excellent schools that inspire our young people to achieve and realise their potential, and provide care to those that are vulnerable. Our new Executive Director of Children, Families and Schools will be an experienced leader who can provide strategic direction and excellent leadership of children and young people services, allowing us to realise our vision. This is a key role for the Council, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, bringing system leadership to the wide range of services and partnerships that enable our children and young people to thrive and be safe across our diverse communities. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and passionate about service delivery and improvement, who can build strong relationships across the system and play a key role as part of the Corporate Leadership Team of the Council.
