Executive Assistants
We are looking for a motivated team member who displays a high level of initiative to work in the Vice Chancellor’s Office, based at the Jenny Lind Campus. The Office currently comprises the Vice Chancellor, Head of the Vice Chancellor’s Office and other members of the Senior Management team, who are supported by a group of Team Leaders and Executive Assistants.
The Vice Chancellor’s office receives a wide variety of enquiries, internal and external, relating to all aspects of the University’s activity and policy. With experience of working within a busy office environment you will have a proven record of providing professional customer service. You will be the first point of contact in the Vice Chancellors’ Office and will require an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly manner. The post requires administrative diligence and accuracy and the ability to cope with conflicting deadlines with a calm and efficient approach.
Working with minimum supervision you will be expected to exercise a high level of personal responsibility and initiative along with the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as tact, diplomacy and sensitivity and the ability to liaise with University colleagues and external business leaders and dignitaries are essential in this role. You should be confident, reliable and conscientious and willing to adapt to meet the daily administrative needs of the Office.
This is a part-time and permanent role.
