Job description
About the role
Key Information
Executive Assistant to the CEO
Full time, 37 hours
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000
We are open to applicants who would like to work part-time.
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our dynamic arts organisation. We are currently in the final stages of our major building transformation to create a world-class concert hall for the region and looking towards reopening in autumn 2023.
Bristol Beacon has been part of Bristol’s cultural heritage for 150 years. Our vision is to unite people through the joy of live music, and we achieve this through a diverse program of inspirational musical experiences.
As Executive Assistant you will provide direct EA and diary management support to our CEO and the Chair of our Board. The Executive Assistant will also play a significant role in supporting our Senior Management team and Board on a day to day basis, and as they work with funding stakeholders, major donors, and patrons to deliver the final stages of our major transformation. The post-holder will work with the rest of our wider staff team as we build the vision for the future.
The successful candidate will ideally have strong Exec Assistant experience at CEO/Board level, experience of liaising with a range of stakeholders, excellent communication skills and the ability to work pro-actively as part of a team, developing strong relationships with our wider Senior Management team and board members.
Diversifying our workforce
We are committed to developing a more diverse workforce through applicants with the skills and experience to help us to widen our perspective and better serve the needs of our communities.
We particularly encourage applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
