Material Evolution is a venture backed company applying cutting-edge scientific research to the discovery and production of novel, carbon-neutral materials. Their mission is to solve global challenges in materials and their markets using scientific principles, artificial intelligence, and advances in manufacturing technology, and then rapidly taking their solutions to market. They are in a unique position to help reverse the impact of human progress on our environment, starting with a planetary problem: the £500bn cement industry, that's responsible for 7% of global carbon emissions. At present, 60% of their team comprises science graduates, including their Founder and CEO, Dr Elizabeth Gilligan, a Forbes 30 under 30 awardee and former Google Fellow.
The Job:
To achieve these goals, they are searching for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the executive team, helping them deliver more in the business through the provision of support across a variety of platforms including:
· Providing comprehensive administrative support, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling appointment logistics efficiently.
· Organising travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for business trips and events.
· Screening phone calls, emails, and other communications ensuring timely responses.
· Supporting executive meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing relevant materials, ensuring information remains confidential and is handled with discretion and professionalism.
· Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents as required.
· Collaborating with various departments to gather information, analyse data, and prepare reports for executive review.
· Acting as a liaison between the executive team and internal and external stakeholders.
· Assisting in project management, monitoring deadlines, and coordinating deliverables.
· Managing and updating the company’s social media accounts.
· Undertaking special projects and other duties as assigned by executives.
The Candidate:

· Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting C-suite executives.
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
· Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
· Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
· Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
